Btw, in that first picture, it looks like all but 2 people are looking at something other than the dance team...

personally, when the dance team is on the floor, i usually do the crossword or chit chat with someone nearby. they really aren't that good. i think that they were probably all cheerleaders in HS and now that they're at a&m, they don't know what to do.

You may say they aren't any good, but the last time they went to nationals they placed 5th in the nation and last year they were ranked 7th in the nation before the competition but were unable to attend because of a money situation. Also, this is not like the high school competitions for ADA where every school attends several competitions and there are multiple winners. Every college dance/pom squad team participates in the same competition.

This past summer in camp at Texas State they finished as the "Best Overall Team" out of those schools there. Some of those in attendance included the cheerleading and pom squad from t.u., the tech dance team, and others. So before you go around saying they aren't very good, maybe you should check the facts. You support aggie athletics, great, but show support for all Aggies.

I agree with aggiedmb on this one. Perhaps judging has gotten soft since my sister was in high school, but what they've done so far isnt even good enough for the jv squad. While past teams have performed very good, this squad is lacking. All that said I'ld much rather have them dance then the hullabalo band play.

Maybe the problem is the band itself. I mean you can't dance acapella- the band needs to be a little more juiced.
