Luke mentioned that the neutral site game against Marquette was one of the most important in the non-conference. Got me to thinking...how would you rank our top 3 most difficult/important non-conference games, and what do you expect our record to be in those games?

Most difficult and most important aren't necessarily the same for me.

I think most difficult: @TCU, Marquette, Xavier

But losing any of those three games wouldn't be a huge deal. Losing at home to Oklahoma State could be problematic.

So most important (not counting how important it is not to blow a quad four game): Oklahoma State, Florida State, beating either Marquette or Xavier.

Beat OSU and FSU and win one of those other three and you're in good shape, win more than one, even better.

Probably just TCU if I had to guess right now

Yeah depending on how the first couple weeks go Marquette and Xavier could swing a couple points one way or the other but I expect we'll be favored or within a point or two in every non con game.
