Signs cost roughly $30 per sign. We prioritize signs that will be used throughout the season. In years past that could possibly be in the budget, but with the revamp of having a larger group to be more organized instead of roughly 10-15 people, and prioritizing the idea of sending students to away games like for volleyball @ Arkansas. We sent 12 students to that game even though there was originally going to be 20 but 8 dropped back due to their Ring Day's.

I want a turnover crown. Reed Rowdies roll out a red carpet and invite the player that committed the turnover for his ceremony. He will not accept, of course, but it would be hilarious. The band could even learn that crowning trumpet music they play at the ceremony in England.

This would be good. Do it on turnovers that lead to a fast break dunk.

Some kind of backcourt countdown would be a perfect complement to Bucky's style. The question would be what it's trying to accomplish. Is it an accelerated countdown to make them panic and speed up, or is the countdown behind the real clock to make them think they have more time than they really do?

For the former, maybe you have the yell leader signal the students to start a 5 second countdown at 4 seconds into the shot clock to speed them up. If the goal is the latter you could start the 5-count at 6 seconds.

This is definitely needed. Why are we playing "25 or 6 to 4" at a critical part of a conference game. I bet >90% of the student section have no idea what that song is.

They need lights above the urinals like they have in parking garages now so you can see the empty ones. One of the wilder decisions in Reed Arena history was to put an 'entry' and 'exit' on the men's concourse restroom but there's a whole bank of urinals you can't see from the entry side which are usually empty.

when someone is shooting a free throw, the behind the glass mayhem, IMHO, allows for the rim to be the only stationary thing in the shooters vision, thus helping focus.

I would suggest a slow L to R or R to L synchronized movement that give the impression the rim is moving - not the all of a sudden quick swipe across we sometimes see - it needs to be slow to trick the eyes.

yea i ignore that and go in the exit, my seats are closer to the exit.

I've suggested before also, problem is the way Reed Arena designed I think the area right behind the rim, for most people, maybe some exceptions for exceptionally tall or small players, is right against a stationary background. Might be more effective for people to somehow create an illusion of height, somehow. Very slowly crouch down while the shooter is shooting or something.

i spent enough time going in and out of the same door at Kyle to use the urinal troughs to get this lifetime exemption to go into the exists at Reed
