Our Aggies definitely flushed that SEC tournament loss and played their butts off tonight against SMC. Our guys punched them in the mouth and never looked back. I really didn't think this team would look in control of a game scoring 63 points, but it worked. The number of steals we had were such a huge part of this win and kept uncle Mo in our corner.

Now it's on to take on Sampson and the Cougars. They are well coached and have a good mix of experienced players and a very talented freshman. The ball is tipped at 510 central on Saturday

A few interesting things about Houston. Their defense is unconventional and relentless. Blitzing style that knocks offenses out of rhythm. They have a number of weapons at guard that can go off. Their post game never really dominates.

Also depends on if the refs let them play or actually call fouls. They at times become too dependent on Flemings. If you can keep the other scoring threats locked up they can be beat. They're at least more vulnerable than last year's team

tbis times a 1000 my 12 yr old daughter said dad is sharp still on houston's team? she despises sharp due to his goijg off on is a few years ago. i said no way he is in the pros. i looked it up thay son of a ***** is still on houstins team.

agree, although they were letting them play last night. I think refs swallow the whistle a little more in the tournament.

Agreed. We got a few off-ball grabs called as fouls last night. Even if it was just one, that's one more than anyone got called in SEC play this year.

Honestly, I think the likelihood of losing by 20 is greater than the likelihood of losing by single digits (or winning).

HOWEVER, on any given Saturday during the NCAAT - ANYTHING can happen! That's why they call it March MADNESS!!!

I liked what I saw....the game plan to work the paint as the priority over shooting 3s paired wt suffocating defense. the first half ...of the first half...was only close because they they hit more 3s than they expected.

Loved the second half adjustment to get Ruben and the outside 3s going in combo with the rentless attack of the rim

Think for the cougs it will definitely be a heavvier dose of the 3 ball from the tip and take it from there

Look at their schedule and results.
I think they are gettable.
They lost to Auburn at their home.
Lost to Tennessee by 3 at their home.
Lost to Arizona twice
Lost to Kansas by 13 or so.

Not saying not athletic. But I think it's closer than we fear.

I have tix to Sweet 16. Let's freaking go.

He redshirted in 21-22 as a freshman due to injuries. Did not play at all that year. He's playing his 4th year now.

Corrections:
Beat Auburn in Birmingham.
Lost to Tennessee in Las Vegas at Players Tournament.
Other 2 losses were to TT in Lubbock with Toppin and ISU in Ames.
Only home loss was to AZ.
Only double digit loss was at Kansas after games vs ISU and AZ.

I love Hill, but he's been out of control a lot lately. We don't NEED him to go bulling into the paint when we have clock. Move the ball. When multiple hands touch the ball on a possession, and guys without the ball are cutting, screening, and rolling, we will get shots.
