That's what we pretend our fanbase is like.

Husker fan support will carry over to Houston. DFW is the second largest alumni group in the country and Houston isn't far behind. Add in the normal fan base travel and you'll see another sea of red next weekend.

We could use some of these High Point players.

High Point's PG has 30 points. Well, just looked him up and he's a senior, altho didn't play much as a freshmen if that matters.

They had literally never won an NCAA game prior to a few days ago. And had a good team all year, so it's predictable they'd travel for this. But definitely props to them shelling out $400+ each for all those lower-level tickets for today.

Yep.

Gonzaga continues to underperform. They have the best winning percentage in Men's hoops since 1999 but have only 2 final fours and only 4 additional elite 8s to show for it. They've lost 6 times to a worse seed since 2013.

While I'd like to have their S16 numbers, with their win totals flooring out at about 28 most years, they should have a championship and at least 5 final fours. Or, at least another finals appearance and 3 more FFs. They've been a 1 or a 2 seed 7 times (and a 3 a ton more), so it isn't like their regular season results/conference is holding them back. The committee has often thought they were the team to beat in that region. They just didn't win.

Always an excuse when Texas wins anything. They just happen to be hot at the right time which happens in this tournament. We will see how long it lasts.

I figured Texas would lose to BYU if not NC State. Definitely fortunate to draw a WCC opponent as a matchup, it just happened for the Horns in the 2nd round instead of the 1st.

I don't know if the Horns can get by Miami, but might as well root for some of the old school Baylor/Drew luck on the draw (in some of the years before they won it all).

Purdue will probably roll straight over Texas. Fun end to a frustrating season regardless.
