Oklahoma (5-11)
Tennessee (10-6)
t.u. (9-7)
Mississippi St. (5-11)

Georgia (8-8)

So a total SEC record of 49-78.

Good grief. I get why people are disappointed. But come on, man. This team so significantly outperformed expectations, it's hard to rag on them.

Besides, they were pretty darned fun to watch at times.

We played incredibly well for almost a month. Like top 15 good. Returning to expectations is not "crashing and burning"

Who gives a ***** It was posted when the team had 19 wins. How many people were predicting a 19-win season before it started? Most predictions I saw were for 14 to 16 wins and praying for no more than 4 or 5 blowout losses. I doubt anyone seriously thought this team would be dancing. Anyone upset with this season, even 4 days ago, should hang it up. And I'm not calling you out, just a response to the "upset" part. EVERYONE was nervous because of the unbelievable chance this team had to make the tournament. Now go beat LSU and lock up that bid!

My point was simply that it is ok to be unhappy with the perceived unraveling that was happening with the team. We had ourselves In a fantastic spot and that felt like it was slipping away. This season matters to me as a fan even while being excited for our future.

I like bold statements!
