The problem isn't fundamentals. We pass really well. The problem is lack of awareness when playing fast. Not seeing trailing defenders or guys ready to step in the lane. Passing is as much about situational awareness as it is fundamentals. We just get a little too greedy and/or reckless sometimes.

Exactly. Short summary of my post and your post is we pass to players not on our team way too much. That's exactly my point.

Unfortunately, I think it's just the way it is with Buckyball. Like most deficiencies, getting his guys to run his system the way it's intended is likely the solution. It's actually pretty incredible what this rag tag has pulled off. But they have a lot of bad habits formed over many years in many systems that come out when the heat turns up.
