A lot to unpack. Waiting for method

Dominguez has missed two threes. Bench him he can't shoot

We did three point lines and no layup lines. Method had to be escorted out by the police for throwing trash on the floor.

My initial reaction to that first segment is that I need to do more research on Shelby.

Watching him warm up was crazy though. It's like the ball looks smaller when he shoots it.

Yeah Hill dominated that first segment. I like him a lot.

Nice to hear! Hill along with Pop, Dominguez, and Jacari Lane should be a solid back court!

How are our bigs looking? With Mgbako hurt, I wanna see who steps up! I'm hoping we can get something out of Vinson or Clemence aside from Federiko and Agee

We're taking way too many mid range shots

Clemence definitely doesn't lack confidence. We can say that much at least.

It's gonna be hard to tell much from the bigs. With us playing against ourselves the pace is just suicidal. Also going to be hard to tell much on Holloway because he doesn't have another quick guard on his team. Hill and Lane are on the same team.

Even Vinson just hit a three lol

Some thoughts from what I saw:
Marcus Hill is a beast, he absolutely took over the 1st half and scored at will
Dominguez made at least three 3s at a fairly high percentage
Noah Shelby actually made five 3s
Griffen had a good amount of points
Vinson really flashed, scored a decent bit and showed off nice form on a pretty 3
There were a lot of sloppy passes and turnovers forced by aggressive full court defense that trapped a lot
Ball movement was unlike anything we ever saw under Buzz

Things I was surprised by:

- Dibba is bigger than I thought. I think he's going to be an important piece in games where shots aren't falling and we need to tighten up on defense

- Vinson is better than I thought. I sort of expected him to be like an early Tavario Miller level player but he's better than that. That three he hit was nice and I think he could give you some minutes if we have foul trouble or something

- Marcus Hill is a dawg.

- With two guys that are projected to be our best two players out you'd really expect there to be some guys on the court that really didn't belong but that wasn't the case. I was really impressed with the guys we'd consider down-roster like Noah Shelby.

- Clemence wasn't particularly good tonight but man was he everywhere. Interested to see what his actual role on this team looks like.

- Bucky talks about being "fearless" and you can see it in the style, lots of risk taking on defense in the passing lanes.

Can't really take anything big picture from this scrimmage other than our depth is pretty impressive but it was definitely fun to watch. Talk about absolutely wide open basketball.

Thanks for the notes. I saw a layup line alley oop so I'm gaining confidence Bucky knows what it takes.
