Bucky played 10 guys 10+ minutes a game last year. Holloway knows the system, so he is probably worthy of a roster spot.

He has a younger brother, Austin Foxwell, in the '26 class who i think is a better player. Their older brother Owen is a pro player in Australia. All 6'1" pgs who can shoot but not elite athletes.

Kind of cool that these former Samford players who have yet to graduate will end up with degrees from Texas A&M.

What are the rules for getting Aggie Rings? Will the fact that so many of their undergraduate hours are from other school(s) make them ineligible?

You have to be able to shoot fts and 3 pts to play for Bucky. Solos offense was bad. He was athletic and could run but he couldn't score much.

Agreed. Solo's offensive skill set seems closer to a 5 under Bucky (and NBA, etc). Problem is he also is small to be the 5.

He's had some health issues not related to basketball injuries. He always seems to be in the middle of kick starting comebacks. Might not fit us but I've enjoyed watching him.

Seeing his few minutes this year, I thought he had a pretty high ceiling... One that Bucky might be better suited for him to achieve.

Buzz used to swear that Jae Lee could play any sport on campus and be one of the top 5 players on whatever team it was. Jae is athletic, just couldn't get footing on Buzz's system. I'd like to see him get a chance on something new that requires the athleticism of Bucky's system.

Don't understand this continuing to get repeated in this thread. Solo can't shoot. If you can't shoot you will not play, let alone thrive, in Bucky's system.

Seems like 38% from 3 is the minimum needed to get a look from Bucky. Not sure any of our former players could play for him.

Good to have guys that know the system to build around, but that list doesn't really scream that he's a guy that people believe can play at this level. Hopefully he comes in a crushes it though!

If I understand Bucky's system correctly, he'll want a full roster of guys that can see playing time. Even if Josh is not top tier status, he's been in Bucky's system and can help others adapt to it.

The pickings are somewhat depleted this year, and Josh looks to be a solid year 1 addition, as he saw considerable playing time on a tournament team.

Fill it. Then next year, improve upon it.
