Is there a university with as much or more money that fails to attract top coaching talent?

I say this, because people just refuse to address the issues.

Aggieland is weird and a big turn off. That's the only thing I can think of.

I think we fail to identify coaching talent more than fail to attract it

Epidemiologists will tell you that association may not be causal.

How successful has our athletic program been since December 1999?

TexAgs is becoming known for not being a young group of posters.

Also, Aggieland isn't that weird anymore other than being a college town for Texas A&M. I'd say it beats out almost every other college town that's only a college town since it is nothing like what it had been even in 2010 from growth and development

But it doesn't have an interstate so it has to be a small town.

We'll see.

Gillispie was lightning in a bottle. Turge was solid, but not spectacular. He left late and we had few options. BK, Wojo, a couple of others. Buzz was the main target after BK was fired.

Trev may not be up to wheeling and dealing, but props for making a legit offer to the #1 candidate. Identified well...but A, B, C

Yeah, what I meant is that sometimes we get the guy we want and it just doesn't turn out well for us. It's not like we're always hiring our 10th choice in everything historically.
