Now back to hoops. You clearly are one of the best coaches this decade. A&M would be lucky to have you. And all that pain and betrayal you feel for the sips, come here to address it and show them just how horribly wrong they were for firing you.

He's a great coach. He was acquitted of the crime. That's the only public knowledge we know 100%. Everything else is just speculation.

You can spend all day speculating, but when it comes down to it, he's a great coach, and we should be spending every resource available to get and keep him in Aggieland. He'd have Schloss-level results.

We can all say we hate as Schloss, but we definitely didn't hate being in the CWS every year and being in the championship game last year.

You can hope for Chris Beard in one hand, then **** in the other and see which one fills up faster. These threads are so ridiculous.

When the hire is made, it will be some no-name from like Alabama Tech. Better off just accepting it now.

Just to be clear, he was not acquitted of the crime. That would require the case to have gone to trial and a jury to have found him not guilty. The alleged victim and sole witness in the case changed her story 11 days later saying that actually it was all her fault, any injuries she sustained were because she initiated a physical confrontation by assaulting him first and he never choked her.

Because she was unwilling to testify the DA dropped charges and everybody gets to pretend it didn't happen.

You're free to believe the original police report or his fiance's later statement. Only the two of them know what actually happened that night. FWIW they are no longer together.

I'm not making any judgment on whether we should hire him or not, but I think there's basically zero chance he'd leave Ole Miss for a complete rebuild.

If true, we'll see if a BMA is going to step up and cover as that's a big financial hurdle for Trev's budget regiment.

That big buyout is if Ole Miss wants to fire him. If he wants to leave, he will owe Ole Miss like $4mill (something around there).

There's a big difference between "I don't personally have the information to know if he committed a crime or not" and "I value winning so much that I don't care if our coach lays his hands on women." That distinction seems to be eluding many of us here.

10 of 14 players were seniors this year. All 5 starters were seniors.

6 of top 7 minutes were seniors.

that is the DEFINITION of a rebuild.
