i would like to see us use many of the guys that redshirted this last year for depth pieces and go all in for a stud. yes we will need more guys but u get a legit scorer at the guard position to go with what payne could potentially be next year and sprinkle in a solo and that nucleus allows a lot of other Jags to be serviceable. then young guys as depth pieces off the bench.

We have to find under the radar guys, guys that have some connection to us, or wait until it's late and nobody has room. I don't mean they negatively, it's just what it is.

Obviously, not in that kind of loop- but I live in Lubbock and the rumor is Dent and Washington to Tech- to link up
with JT Toppin, again.

I figured Toppin was NBA bound.

After years and years and years and years of following college recruiting….

I have learned to never waste any of my time getting interested in a particular recruit unless there is clear evidence of an active, ongoing recruiting connection to A&M, such as news he has scheduled a visit to College Station, he has mentioned us himself that he is considering us, etc.

there are going to be over a thousand guys in the transfer portal and only a very small percentage will be in play as a serious option for A&M. I'd love to be privy to Buzz's target board right now but unfortunately I am not.

Who knows? I work a couple of days a week at a golf shop doing club fittings and some club repair - and people talk. It kind of makes sense, but maybe they're looking for something bigger.
