I'll be in Denver for the game on Thursday - is a local Club (or informal group of Aggies) meeting anywhere before the game?

The Denver Aggie Club watch party is at Stoney's.

That said, Brooklyn's is right next to the arena and gets tons of foot traffic so my guess is you'd have no problem going there before the game and finding Ags to have a drink with.

I will be meeting anyone at the first session. Never miss a chance to watch a March Madness game in person.

Who was the Texags guy that was hammered after the CU game at Mile High a couple years back?

Society Sports & Spirits is a great sports bar and will have a wall of TVs showing everything. It's easily walkable to Ball Area. The owner is from Houston and it's a Houston bar (Texans and Astros), but not an A&M bar.

They host a bunch of different alumni groups, one being Iowa State who plays at 1130 Friday so there shouldn't be any issue with an over-packed bar full of ISU fans at before our game. We will be there.

Me and older son drove from Dallas to Memphis on Gameday last year and drove home the next day. Worth it, other than Nebraska had 90% of the fans. Made it better tho.

If you're staying downtown this weekend and want a place to watch the early games or a late night pizza spot, visit my friends at Mario's Speakeasy Pizza (1410 Market St.). Great pizza, wings & a full bar. Tell Julia (owner) that Pete and Daniel sent you.

They open at 11 a.m. and last pie goes in at 2:15 am tonight. On Friday/Saturday, last pie goes in at 2:45 a.m.

BTHO Yale!

We're probably going to watch the early games here.
