best to just take a break and ignore the next 2 weeks until the season really matters. the team seems to be doing it anyway

Not even remotely true. TeamRankings has our most likely seed as a 6 (22% chance). About 50% chance we're a 6 seed or lower. Torvik is close to that, putting us at the 3rd 5th seed, so close to boarderline between a 5 and 6.

I personally think lower than 7 is unlikely, but 6 or 7 is completely in play.

No, but instead of a 2 seed, we're more likely to get a 5 seed and the classic 5/12 early exit if they keep playing like this

It's the one thing that is certain but with each loss we move further down seed line potentially. I've been saying we are a 4/5 seed all along and now we are playing the best teams in conference we are a 4/5 seed.

If this team heads into the ncaa tournament with 7 straight losses (which is looking like a possibility), then how much would it really matter where they are seeded?

Teams that can't make 3's or defend 3's never make it far in the NCAAT anyway.

Let's not get crazy. There's several here that insist regular season winning record is the top of the mountain.

Seeds 3-7 are pretty tightly bunched. If we lost each of the remaining games I think we would fall to a 7. So long as we beat LSU at home we will be a 4 or 5. If we can find a way to beat Auburn too we will be a 3 seed. There has been zero chance of missing the tournament for about a month now.
