Opening Consensus Line
Aggies -8.5
Total is 138.5

Back in action at home and the Ags need to protect the home court. Calipari is coming to Reed with a hungry team that has won 3 of 4 including beating KY and Texas on the road and LSU at home. Their only loss in this stretch is to Alabama by 4. Arkansas has some talent even though they have some injuries and are better than their SEC record.

Aggies had a really solid second half on Tuesday night and hopefully we can build off that nice half of basketball on both ends of the court.

Protect the home court!

That second half versus Georgia was merely 'really solid' Mike? Georgia didn't get to 10 that half until 4 minutes remaining and A&M having blasted them by that point 41-10!

except for UK game, they've lost on the road. They haven't been a very good road team, lets hope that continues

this is one of those game that is all about us. arky is absolutely playing improved ball but if we take care of business we win this game by 8-10. i think in some ways because we play a very ugly brand of basketball we aren't given credit for how good we are. especially when we are at full strength. i get the apprehension it's part of our DNA but this team just finds a way to get it done. and a lot of times it's different guys leading the charge.

They also won @ Texas after winning @ UK. They definitely have been playing notably better the last couple weeks. Including on the road.

It was probably the best half of the year. Hopefully we can string two solid half's together against the team you thought might go 0-18.

In this game these two people are one and the same.

The 7-2 guy is a slenderman looking cat that's a 44% 3pt shooter and averages 9.4 a game. But he's been absolutely on fire their last two games with 25 and 27 so he's not exactly the sleepy threat we normally face.

In this game these two people are one and the same.

I only watched them closely in the LSU game earlier this week. That 7 ft 2 beanpole is not going to be a huge problem in the paint imo but he was sinking 3 pointers like layups. I dunno what you do about that other than try to deny him the ball out there. Don't allow him clean looks or he could kill you.

I wouldn't bank on that. I'm more excited that with our wildly ineffective, super inconsistent style of play we are good enough to compete with any team in the country. If we bring our 2nd half Georgia game the rest of the way we are winning a national championship.

Wade, Phelps & Obeseki continue to mesh & score. Payne & Henry can be the bully to the Big Skinny one. We're due a solid 40 minute game at Reed! I gave the pts against UGA, more of the same.

They're 4-7 in conference play for a reason. That big gawk has strung together a few good games lately, but that doesn't make them scary. They don't defend well at all, can't rebound and don't get to the line a ton. We'll have to endure a few runs, but if we can go into Columbia, hold them scoreless for the first 5+ minutes, lead just about the entire game and hand them their first home loss of the season, we can beat a thin Pig team at home.

Their only loss in their last 4 was a 4 point loss to bama. They also won at Kentucky and at Texas. They're definitely trending up in a big way.

It might have been our best full half of our program. It would just be nice if it was paired with an average half for compete domination.
