Forgive me if posted here already, but seeing that YoutubeTV could be cutting Paramount if no deal is made right before the NCAA tournament which would include CBS.

Am I understanding that right? Sounds like a nightmare.

According to the email I got.....yes, CBS is included. Email says Paramount channels will likely become unavailable today. As of right now, looks like I still have those channels.

Amazing how these contracts come to an end for new negotiations right at the time of affecting big sports. The ESPN deal with providers is always in college football season.

This is a cycle that will repeat. Don't expect to save money on streaming though you might avoid cost with skinny bundles. Or might not…also keep in mind the use of non-sports networks for sports broadcasting like TRU, TBS, etc. to lock in sports viewers to less skinny packages.

There is zero chance this is a prolonged battle that lasts into March Madness. There will be a lot of threats and blame for both sides over the next week and ultimately one side will cave.

Just subscribe to the Paramount+ Network. Very inexpensive and has a ton of great on demand content plus live sports.

I used to. They didn't have any of the former Turner networks. No tbs, tnt, trutv. They basically have every other sports channel known to mankind. So if you are not into March Madness it's actually great for sports.

Oh and they were just bought by Disney. So there's that.

In reality, we all knew (or should have known) prices were going to up and eventually get closer to cable prices. I'm not surprised all. Satellite was the same and took of ABC, the Cooking/Food channels and i think even threatened ESPN.

Shifting from games during March Madness would be a PITA though if using an antenna for CBS.
