5-3 would be a really nice finish because it would include at least one to two ranked victories to close out the season. to get to 5-3 t he most likely scenario would include victories over LSU, Arky, georgia, vandy and miss st on the road.

I called 6-3 last week with losses at Mizzou, Auburn, and at Florida.

I'll now say 6-2 to finish with losses to Auburn and at Florida.

Kind of but it's also our style of play is just lends itself to razor thin margins of error regardless of opponent often times

For some reason Auburn doesn't scare me as much as MSU on the road.

We seem to have a knack for beating Auburn as dogs.

I think 6-2 is doable with losses @Florida and @MSU.

Yeah, for some reason that gane at msu bugs me. Maybe it's football bas creeping in where we have woes in Starkville, but I just see that guard of theirs (Hubbard?) going off on us


I'm at 5-3 for the remaining 8; 3 losses coming from the group of Auburn , Tennessee, at Florida and at msu

Basically thinking we lose both road games a d split the Auburn and tenbessee games while sweeping the others

Though I can see a world where we lose at lsu but beat a team like msu or beat both Tennessee and Auburn

At Florida is the one game I just can't really see us winning

I lean 5-3, but see 6-2 as more likely than 4-4.

Lose Florida
Split Tenn/Auburn
Drop 1 of MSU/Georgia/Arky/Vandy/LSU

That probably puts us at a 3 seed if I were a betting man (I am )

4 out of our next 5 games are on our home court.

Our road game in that bunch is at Starkville.

I think we win all of our home games (including beating both teams from Tennessee).

I believe that the game at Mississippi State will be similar in terms of atmosphere and implications as the game we just won at Mizzou.

So...I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that we go 5-0 in the next five games - and then finish up by going 2-1 in our final three games - to finish conference play at 14-4 - setting us up for a definite 2 seed and possibly the final 1 seed depending on how other teams fare down the stretch.
