Buzz believes in all the guys. Was still pretty interesting to hear the game winning play was actually for Garcia to drive the ball. I mean putting the game in the hands that is most hesitant to shoot the ball is odd.ag88man said:

They didn't make a big enough deal of that block on the broadcast... it was devastatingly vicious. One of the best and cleanest blocks I've ever seen at the college level.

Payne's confidence was lacking early in the season while he was adjusting, but his game and confidence level have really taken off the last few weeks. He's been a force.

The Mizzu player had all the momentum and was swinging the ball down. How in the hell Payne, while in the air, was able to turn into a brick wall to crush that ball defies physics. Only thing that could have made the block even more amazing would have been if he could have palmed it and came down with the ball.

I don't think it was confidence. It's a matter of coming into a new, established program, being a good team mate, and "earning" your spot. Same as Phelps.Quote:

The same announcing crew was glowing about how that player loves talking trash and backing it up. He deserves to have this clip posted to his twitter every day until the end of the season. ABSOLUTELY OWNED.
