The Best Era of College Hoops, There were some great programs in that stretch that could light the scoreboard up!

He was a great player on a great team. He didn't really need to dunk on that team. Doesn't seem that long ago. 62 is too young. What caused his death? RIP Alvin

I was at the game at the Pit in Albuquerque in April of 1983 when they lost to N.C. State. I was absolutely shocked when the final buzzer went off.

A couple of years later the NCAA adopted the shot clock. I don't think anyone could have beaten the Cougars with today's rules.
