Fouling us is a way to win. Not hard to figure out the game plan.

Not early. No. But late in the game. Yes. I would foul us on purpose.

This is true, but when you miss 20 in a game and lose by one, it's pretty obvious what lost the game. Or not get to the FT line at all and lose by one when you rely on them for points.Quote:
We shoot 69% from the FT line. Assuming we are in the double bonus, we would average just under 1.4 points every time we go to the line. In 1-1 it would be 1.17 points. Teams would die to average that many points per possession. It shows why getting to the line is a way more important stat than free throw percentage over the course of a season.
The FT% is frustrating but it is way less important than shooting % from the field. We are 10% worse than OU that is the best team in the conference. If we shoot 30 FT in the game, that is a 3 point difference. In other words, offset by a single extra made 3.
Every team loses games because they go cold shooting. The best shooting three point teams go cold from the arc, jump shooters are off, etc.txag72 said:This is true, but when you miss 20 in a game and lose by one, it's pretty obvious what lost the game.
