Here you go.

Backcourt Violations (Rule 9-12.5) - This rule states that "A pass or any other loose ball in the front court that is deflected by a defensive player, which causes the ball to go into the backcourt may be recovered by either team even if the offense was last to touch the ball before it went into the backcourt."

Hef touched it last, so he is the one who caused it to go into the backcourt. I know it doesn't seem fair, but that's how it is interpreted.

I still want to know why Wilcher, who kept us alive with two big shots in the first half when on the ropes, has not gotten a minute this half when nobody else other than Hefner can shoot from outside.
