I hate threads like this. There's no point.
Even if he wins a championship there will be "fans" waiting to say I told you so the following year if he doesn't win it all again.
Just as there will be fans wanting to say he's arrived without really having sustained high level success.
He's a good coach that appears to be a great person that looks to develop a hard working team over recruiting superstars. I don't know if that will ever allow for sustained high level success, but I also don't think it allows for complete failure like I saw while in school.
He's had a solid couple of above average years, but he also hasn't "arrived" in the sense of success we would expect other coaches to achieve before deeming them elite.
That said, the older I get the less I'm in the win it all or bust category and look at sports as entertainment. And this looks to be a great year in that regard.
