Southern is actually a lot better than HCU. #220 compared to #354.

Houston Christian (along with East Texas A&M) are two of the worst 10-15 teams in division 1.

Now Abilene Christian next week is halfway decent. Still shouldn't challenge us but they rank in the 190's.

I wasn't making a statement as much as trying to be funny.

But, that gap between Southern and HCU is bigger than I would have guessed. Remember that Dallas Christian team we played a few years ago? It was a college with like 250 students yet they field 10+ athletic teams. Is that a real college or does it exist only for athletics?

Lol, yeah I'm not even sure that school was real. Didn't we have to swap them in because Boston College cancelled or something? That game didn't even count for NET/metrics purposes.

Parking will be no problem.
You can probably move to a better seat after game starts.

Yes. Someone gave us their reserved seats since they can't go?

Our kids finish finals on Thursday and have a basketball game on Thursday night. So the timing of the free tickets was perfect! Depending on the schedule over their Christmas break, we'll try to go again. It was already something my husband was planning to do. This was convenient and free.

Great, enjoy the game! Yes, I believe parking is free for this game.

Meh. I'm old and sit there talking about the game. Rarely gripe. Vocally appreciative of good play by both teams. Like to chat with opposing fans about their team. Really feel bad for kids when they make mistakes (like air balls) - Dad-brain I think.

And I miss the days back in Jolly Rolly when we had more than one thing to yell at the opposition.

HCU has been curb-stomped by everyone they played this year, except that tiny Adventist college in Waxahachie.

That's kind of sad. My kids kind of like HCU because one of their basketball coaches played there when it was HBU. He took them all to a basketball game last year… maybe the year before?

I was at the game where Bernard King broke the record against texas. He had the opportunity to break it on a break away dunk, but tried to do a reverse dunk and missed.

If I remember correctly, he broke the record at the free throw line a few plays later.

To this day, Bernard King remains my Favorite Aggie Basketball player of All Time!
