We were sitting down close to the band and there were some thrown from shorter range that few in the arena would have seen.

With the turnout of tech fans, it looks like they will have a standing invitation at dickies arena every year.
Yes tech has not changed their stripes, booing kids on the Jumbotron. It got old.

In defense of hefners mostly zero stat line, we did get to see what I believe to be, his first shot block of the season.

Biggest mistake for me was parking in the parking garage. Never doing that again. What a cluster.

The garage can be hit or miss. For major concerts they often have it running like clockwork, but for these college hoops games at Dickies it's routinely a nightmare. We ubered yesterday, but a few years back the game against Texas we sat in the garage for 45 minutes before we moved.

Traffic was a nightmare. They were dealing with simultaneous egress from our game (as well as a play/musical that ended at the theater nearby at the same time) and ingress from University Dr of people coming for the WBB evening session. Concert traffic at Dickies is usually very smooth, but it's easy to manage flow when it's all going the same direction.

It's more their hate for A&M. They also hate the sips and had a ton of fans at the game in Austin after the sips stole Beard.

Tech is better than A&M in best accomplishment (finals), better (but not outstanding) consistency, and for basketball especially fan support.

I'm not sure their hate for us impacts the bigger picture where they demand more and usually perform better. We arguably are too guess on getting our school and lack focus on stepping up to make things work. Unless Buzz is Neo and will deliver a from our sins and enemies.

I don't think most posters here believe that for one femtosecond.

Tech fans absolutely support basketball more than A&M, and it's not even close. I'm not saying Tech is great at it...it's more about A&M being terrible at it. I'd say the most passionate A&M hoops fans are some of the best around. The problem is there aren't that many passionate hoops fans compared to other schools.

I mean, let's be honest. How hard is it for any school - Tech or otherwise - to have better sustained fan support for their basketball program than A&M does? The bar is set incredibly low on this one.

Buzz seemed pretty annoyed by the turnout on TexAgs today.

Buzz can solve the fan problem by keeping his team in the Top 25.

As a positive for A&M, we did bring Hullabaloo and the dance team. Which was nice. Of course the Dance
team was roundly booed.

The problem with parking started early on. We arrived at 11:45 and were ushered up to the Fifth level. Didn't really have a choice. When it got time to leave all the lower levels got out first. Upper levels had to wait 45 min or more. Not worth the $35 they charged you. I'm not doing the parking garage again, will stick with the lot and walk or use uber.

It's kind of like Jerry world. Once you get pissed off about something more difficult than it should be, you are not inclined to go back. Which we haven't. Glad he Ark/A&M series is back to home & home. Won't miss Jerry World a bit.
