I would really love to see us go 8-1 in the next nine, prior to TN at home. 7-2 would be good. Expecting 6-3
Odds are that there won't be a single team in the SEC that will go 8-1 over their next 9.

When you posted this, our next 9 included 5 on the road. Even "expecting" 6-3 is pretty wild. 5-4 would be good, 6-3 would be really, really good.caleblyn said:

Wake Forest's crappy SOS keeping them a quad 3,
Only losses are quad 2 Xavier and quad 1 to UF, Clemson and us.

Somehow, we gained 8 spots in NET. We're up to 12 after the tu loss. Yet another sign that the sky isn't falling and the world isn't burning. The woe is me crowd will be so upset.

I mean you aren't wrong, but its OK for people to be upset about blowing a 22 pt lead against an arch rival in one of the worst choke jobs in school history.

It was a massive choke job, but simply due to number of games (and therefore season impact), it's always going to trail numerous football games where the loss impacted the season much more.
A MLB team could blow a 15 run lead and it would be a massive chokejob. But in one game out of 162, it doesn't *really* matter.
Yesterday obviously a bit more significant as it may have cost us a seedline, but in the grand scheme of things it's not all that important.

Exactly, this is what we need our fans to understand. While games like yesterday do suck, it's not nearly the catastrophic event the BAS Aggies want it to be.

Maybe if we had maintained our lead. Winning by one and losing by one are virtually identical for NET as its primarily an efficiency metric.

It is truly remarkable how many people come to post after any loss as opposed to an amazing win like Wednesday.

Premium board is brutal after losses. Don't know how some of them live their lives day to day
Specifically Aggie sports vs "tu" - too many Aggies all ate up by just one rival, don't even tune in to other games. The Collective said:AggieCrew44 said:

Once you realize that Aggie sports is the most important thing in some of those people's lives, it starts to make sense.
