Next couple of games we play very good bigs. Bittle from UO and Kalkbrenner from Creighton. These guys can score. We need a strong effort from Payne to win.

Kalkbrenner 90% from field and 90% from FT line through 4 games. I don't care if you playing at the ymca, that's still pretty incredible.
I worry about Payne's fouling and him being out in 18 minutes.
Bittle went for 23 and 14 tonight. Anyone else watch that game?
I watched the end. He won't get as many good looks *i think* with our style of defense.

Bittle has looked unbelievable so far this season, last night was a second half masterclass. Will need Payne to be at his best this week
I'm not worried about Payne defensively other than he needs to be a little more judicious with his fouls, but we need some offense from him. Even if he's not scoring we need him focused and setting good picks and screens and being active off the ball so they have to guard him.
What would be nice would be if we didn't have just 1/big guy. No idea why Buzz can't find a few. Basketball is returning to a size game look at UConn winning with lots of size. Alabama starts three guys over 6/10. Here it's Payne and a few guys that weren't recruited as bigs playing bigs now.
