Do they not have any more guards? Solo playing the 3 essentially is mind boggling. The rotation and defense are terrible. The 3's are falling but it's not their game

Garcia being willing to pull the trigger quickly makes him and Solo interchangeable on offense and makes us a lot more dangerous. If we can use the 3-4 to stretch the floor even a little bit it really opens things up for Taylor, Phelps and Payne.

I'll venture a guess that we'll go undefeated in games we shoot more than 60% from 3.

My guess is the focus tonight was pushing the ball and trying to find good shots from three. We won't play like this all the time but we needed to practice it.

Really bizarre for him to not get any minutes against these spares if he's healthy. I'm hoping he hasn't regressed to the old Manny we were used to. He's got to be really disappointed after such a strong finish last season.

One think I think is pretty clear early is that Buzz likes our depth and we're going to push the ball. It's going to lead to some bad possessions sometimes but should benefit us later in games.

Phelps having five assists is a good sign, he started dishing it out that half.

Phelps seems to have more of a PG mentality than even Taylor. If they stay healthy, I think this team could really do something!

We look much more comfortable on offense with Phelps running the point. I don't mind Wade running it some also, but Phelps has been good for us.

Taylor is going to go down as one of the best three point guards in school history, but no doubt that at times it's nice to move him off the ball and just let him be a shooter in certain matchups.

Defense is also gonna have some bad stretches if we're pushing the tempo. Would like to see us cut off drives better but Lamar shot under 40% from the field and just made one three. Didn't look pretty but the numbers look good.

Wade always shoots so much better when he doesnt have to handle the ball at his size every possession. Had to be physically taxing

Finally my first chance to watch the Ags tonight and my early takeaway is this team has too much depth and talent for Wade to take 3-5 logo 3's a game or ever have to go hero ball. Really impressed with the new guys.

On the way to the meeting three people were in his way, he tried to go through them fell down awkwardly and ended up going the other way.
