Hey Aggie Fans!
We are back and excited to talk with you about the upcoming SEC battle between two
of college football's oldest rivals, your Texas A&M Aggies and the LSU Tigers. The first
time the Aggies and Tigers met was in College Station in 1899. But, before we dig into
this, let's introduce Snaps Clothing for those who are new to our feed.
Our company, Snaps Clothing , was founded in 2021 in Dallas, TX by us, Ed Baronne
and Patrick Lynn. As good friends and business partners who wanted to move away
from corporate life and tackle a new challenge, we identified a niche in the menswear
market. As people transitioned into a less formal lifestyle post Covid, we believed that
guys would enjoy wearing shirts that resonated more with their roots, while having the
modern advantages of stretch, lightweight fabric, masculine colors, and iconic style. All
of these allowing guys to seamlessly transition between settings. With this thought, the
idea of modernizing the pearl snap shirt came into focus and Snaps was born.
Now… back to the good stuff on the matchup! Just like many of you, we've spent our
lives enjoying afternoons of college football; the tailgates, the matchups, the beautiful
Texas fall weather, and of course... the euphoria of being in an SEC stadium with the
cheers of deafening crowds. There is nothing better.
Second to the Longhorns vs. Aggies matchup, our second favorite game each year is
always Texas A&M vs. LSU. There's something about the Bayou Bengals coming to
town that seems to turn things up a notch around College Station and amps up the
Aggie fans making game day a memorable one!
As I'm sure many of you will agree, one of the craziest games we've ever been a part of
was the Aggies 74-72 win over the Tigers in 2018 during its record breaking 7
overtimes!
Who remembers this game? Tell us your stories. What was your favorite A&M vs LSU
experience or game?
Let's talk football!!
