Still think we need a few shooters out of the portal. Not upgrading that department hurt us a bit this year.

With regard to second post on the thread, wonder if Mills or even Lindsay might provide some shooting prowess as young guards...?

I keep bringing up the name of Jamal Mashburn Jr. who starred for the New Mexico Lobos and was a major contributor offensively - in the Portal with one year of eligibility remaining.

I would think the chances of landing Dailey and Kyle both are very slim. Not saying we can't do it, but if we did that would be massive. I'm not sure we can get either honestly. We will have to beat out some bigger name programs.

Bryce Lindsay probably helps our chances with Dailey.
We got an in home visit with Kyle, so that's promising.

they could all technically be scholarship, but if you added one more portal player you'd have to take someone off scholarship (most likely jaelyn lee)

I like the Mashburn Jr. idea a lot. Hypothetically if we were to land Kyle III, Dailey Jr., and Mashburn Jr. that would be the best portal offseason possible. I also think some people don't realize lindsay can become a great shooter, just needs to play better when the ball in his hands, And Mills has potential to start by the end of the year if Manny for some reason stops playing like he has been.

I'm still holding out hope Marble can (and will) play for us next season. I'm not expecting it, though.

Jamal Sr. has a gap but Jr. probably had braces and good dental treatment.
