Jmo. Kansas, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

Not by a lot but I felt like each one should have been seeded lower by 1.

North Carolina because I thought Iowa St deserved a 1 seed more . I know there were 3 teams between them in the seeding order and any of those three had an argument as well.

Kansas because they just aren't that good this year and don't have depth. aub and bama have more upside. Early season wins over UConn and Tennessee were factors I suppose.

Kentucky because they are not great defensively and they basically live and die by the 3 pt shot which makes them … volatile. I think Auburn,
Illinois , and Duke have more upside. Obviously Duke gets the blue blood treatment as well normally.

Not a big deal but just something I was thinking about.

The seeding is subjective if fact and evidence informed. Hope that helps?!?

Big 12 got a lot of love in the seeding. Kansas, Baylor, Tech and Texas all 1 seed higher than they should have been IMO. They are arguably the best conference but still think they got it wrong. Right decision was made to leave OU out.

Coach Cal says Kentucky is "built for March"

Last I checked, the SEC tournament was in March.

I expect another early exit, probably second round. And if he doesn't get to the second weekend, I think the tide will have fully turned on him.

And I don't hate Cal... I root for Kentucky, but I think he's done in College Basketball.

I actually think getting a fair number of one and done types is harder than having some continuity yr over yr.

He is having a tough run lately, but it is hard to judge his methods of bringing in the 1 and Done types when he has been competing against 5th and 6th year guys that COVID caused.

It will be interesting to see in the next 2-3 years (Covid year is done after this year), if things go back to Kentucky out-athleting everyone or if the transfer portal will be an equalizer still, even though the transfers won't be 24.

They have a good path to the Elite Eight.

Then, if the cards fall the right way for our Aggies, Kentucky might run into their 2024 Nemesis...

Crap shoot indeed.

I had Kentucky leaving early, but I thought it would be the next round.
