The transfer portal giveth (Coleman, Garcia, Radford, Carter, Leveque, Lawrence) but it also taketh away. So for fun here's a list of former players for us now elsewhere and in the NCAA Tournament.

I think this is everyone.

In the tournament:
Emmanuel Miller - TCU - 32.5 mpg - 15.9 pts - 5.9 rbs
Hassan Diarra - UConn - 19.3 mpg - 6 pts - 2.5 asts
Jaxson Robinson - BYU (via Arkansas) - 26.2 mpg - 13.8 pts - 2.5 rbs
Jonathan Aku - Grambling - 22.6 mpg - 4.5 pts - 5.2 rbs

Just missed:
Aaron Cash - UT Arlington (lost in finals to Grand Canyon)
Erik Pratt - Milwaukee (lost in finals to Oakland)
Khalen Robinson - Little Rock (lost in finals to Morehead State)

Robinson is on his third school. He needed time to develop. He's doing well now, but he wanted to play before he was ready.

Erik Pratt is a preseason second-team all-Horizon pick
2023-24: Appeared in 34 of MKE's 35 games on the season, making 24 starts in an impressive first year as a Panther ... averaged 12.5 points (second on the team and 24th in the Horizon League), 3.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists (also 24th in the conference) per game

Javonte Brown, 7'0, was with Western Michigan last year. Surprised to see that he averaged 15 minutes, 8.8 ppg and 3.2 rebounds.

He is now at Rhode Island and seems to be thriving.

They played three games in August in an exhibition tour in the Bahamas, and one Oct. 14 vs. # UConn in the Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Game.

- Brown averaged 17 points, 8.7 rebounds and went 20-26 from the field in the Bahamas.
- Against UConn he had 16 points, 10 rebounds.

Without throwing shade at Javonte or Buzz: it was clear Javonte got Buzz's culture formation concepts but didn't progress in skill formation to be a fit with the program as we bring in more talent. Paige in the first half against UH wasn't fluid but also didn't look out of place like Javonte sometimes did (being kind.)

I'm glad he found a place to get more PT and contribute more. I loved his spirit and attitude. Could not be more impressed in fact. It's hard to be a fantastic benchwarmer.

Happy to see it, he seemed like a great teammate and had the best bench reactions. Always wanted to see his game grow into his body, he still seemed awkward in his body due to his size and age - thought he still might physically mature. However, I didn't expect it to happen to be honest and the stats you shared are a pleasant surprise.
