I thought Wade made an interesting comment re Garcia's rebounded ding stating it gives them of them more confidence to take the shot because even if they miss, he's likely to get it

It was great to watch us defeat Ole Miss 80-71 to advance to the 2nd round of the SEC Tournament. BTHO Kentucky!

This has clearly been a factor in Wade's shooting this year. I bet nobody in the country has a higher percentage of his misses rebounded by his own team than Taylor.

I've said from early on that it was clear Buzz' angle was just to get a shot on goal and let the rebounders do the work (which was an improvement over a couple of years ago when our biggest weakness was that we were so fixated on getting a good shot that we wound up getting no shot).

It was more obvious tonight than ever IMO. Wade took a couple of shots that were very clearly "lets get this offense moving by getting the rebounds started".

Yeah, it's weird that people think Buzz would just let Wade take bad shot after bad shot. That's not to say he doesn't take any bad shots, he does, but him shooting a three with Garcia and Solo under the basket is probably our highest efficiency shot.

It's definitely weird to watch, but like our jumping out on shooters, we do it so regularly that it's obviously what we're taught to do.

End of game strategy:

When you know they are going to foul-- must wade inbound the ball? I want him shooting free throws..

And our defense got almost Northern Iowa bad for a stretch. Way too tentative. Stop the damn ball.

We're prepared.

36.9% shooting but with 3 less TOs and a 21-9 edge on the offensive boards, we're finding taking advantage of 2nd chance points.

Looking back at the KY game, we had a 25-17 OR advantage, 2 less TOs and 6 more shots on goal.

The rise of Solo and Obaseki allow us to do what we do best - outwork our opponents.

Some of the best offense on the more frontcourt heavy UNC teams under Roy Williams was the offensive rebound.

I guess I can also chalk it up to the crew not being all that prepared. My favorite quote of the night was "Buzz looking to get his team into the tournament to make it 2 times in 3 years."

Well yeah, but also 2 times in 2 years

Is the schools name the University of Mississippi or Ole Miss?

Ole Miss sounds like a way past her prime hooker.
