I think it's the beginning of the all too predictable dive into the NIT again. This team only plays hard at home.

I honestly thought they would get blown out before we lost to Vandy. Seems like a bad matchup with their shooting and offensive firepower. We still probably get whipped, but I would actually give us a better shot today than I would have 2 days ago.

We play well in front of a packed house at Reed! On the road, who knows which team will show up. If it's the uninspired team that showed up at Vandy, Bama wins convincingly!

We either win by 2 or get blown out by 15+. I just don't know which A&M team shows up: team that thrashed the Vols or the team that didn't take Vandy seriously.

This team is so unpredictable. I'm pretty sure, Buzz can't explain it either.

I always cheer for my Aggies and know the sec refs suck.

We're gonna be like ten point dogs. I still think we're gonna make the tournament, but have been thinking for a while that this was the worst matchup in the league for us.

I will say that Alabama lets their defense slip sometimes so maybe we hang around and then at least make it interesting at the end.

But if we try to match them shot for shot they'll absolutely bury us unless they're just way off.

We have never had a season dive under buzz. In fact he has been pretty dominant in the 2nd half of the year.

As infuriating and perplexing as last game was as well as a handful of others, this team is capable of beating just about any team in the country.
Part of why that vandy loss is so bad, becuase it puts us in a precarious spot to make the tourney and potentially do some dmg

We had a chance against Auburn late. I want to say it was maybe a 3 point game in the last four minutes. I'd be pretty happy if we have that same chance against Bama late.

I think the comparison comes into play in that Buzz is under achieving compared to his pay. He also talks a good game like Jimbo, but hasn't really delivered when it counts.

OP is just a negative knee-jerk reaction with little basis in anything but a reaction to the Vandy game. There is no "predictable dive" because Buzz's teams usually get stronger in the back half.

And nobody thought they'd beat TN either, and yet it happened.

I think we can. We gave Auburn all they wanted for 39 minutes at the Jungle. We beat LSU in red stick after being bashed by them at home. We annihilated Mizzou on the road after struggling to beat them at home. And we have no rhyme or reason as to how we play each game. Again, we can beat anybody and we can lose to anybody. That being said, I wouldn't be shocked in the least if we won this game. It'd be par for the course for our Jekyll & Hyde basketball personality.

we're likely to lose at bama and at tennessee, but we have a good chance to win any of the other remaining games.

just go 4-3 in the final 7 and we are in

that gives us room to lose at bama, at tennesse and at ole miss, then win the rest.

losing to vandy took away any wiggle room we had.

Loss coming on Saturday.

Home game vs Arkansas then becomes pretty much a 'Must Win' because they cant afford losing to a bad team at home. They have about used up all their Get Out Of Jail cards.

I think we can beat Alabama on the road, but I won't be surprised if Alabama beats us by double digits. We beat LSU on the road after being bashed by them at home. We throttled Missouri on the road on the road after struggling to beat them at home. It just depends on which road team shows up: the one that beat LSU and Missouri on the road or the one that lost to Vanderbilt.
