Office debate. He's wrong. Please settle this for us.

Middleton (agreed on #1)

So rank these guys based on NBA career:

Robert Williams
Alex Caruso
DeAndre Jorden
Acie Law
Daniel House

It's definitely Middleton and Jordan 1-2, they're really in a class of their own. And Law is definitely last. Sloan was probably better than Law.

But then it's Caruso, Williams, House like Method has it.

I think you could maybe argue that when he's healthy Williams is better than Caruso but he's missed so much time.

If you're talking all-time, you HAVE to include Sonny Parker, and Antoine Wright goea there somewhere too.

Here's a nice read on his relationship with Shelby Metcalf.

I actually had no idea about Sonny Parker until this debate happened, but then I left him off for simplicity. That's why I said "rank these guys" and not a general all-time Aggie in NBA discussion.

No love for Q, Dex, Jalen Jones, or Tyler Davis on this list!? I might throw Q above Acie since his career averages are just about better across the board. And Davis has pulled down a rebound in every NBA minute he's played!

- DeAndre Jordan is 36th in NBA history with 10,460 rebounds. LeBron is the only active player ahead of him.
- DeAndre Jordan is 38th in NBA history with 1,538 blocks.
- DeAndre Jordan is 1st in NBA history with a FG% of .6758%

DeAndre's career earnings (may be incomplete) are $172,415,689

Acie Law's NBA career is similar to Pearl Washington, Sebastian Telfair, Royal Ivey and Shawn Respert.

Basketball reference uses a "similarity score" to find players who were similar in style of play... https://www.basketball-reference.com/about/similar.html

Quote:

It is important to note that this method does not attempt to find players who were similar in style of play. Rather, it attempts to find players whose careers were similar in terms of quality and shape. By shape, I mean things like: How many years did he play? How good were his best years compared to his worst years? Did he have a few great years and then several mediocre years, or did he have many good-but-not-great years?

Another important item to note is that players are only compared to other players who played a comparable position. In other words, guards are compared to guards and guard-forwards; forwards are compared to forwards and forward-centers; and centers are compared to centers and center-forwards. This is not always perfect, but it works well enough absent more precise positional designations.

Those 5 guys played a combined total of 45 games. Acie didn't have a magical NBA career, but Q Jackson's career win shares is 0.2

Yeah Middleton's best was better but Jordan was good for a lot longer, depends on what we're arguing
