While I was looking at some OffRebound stats, I looked up something else...
Do yourself a favor and dont look at team FG% or 3pt% rankings.

I'd be curious to know how many of our offensive rebounds are "grab it and pull it down" vs "slap it into the backcourt and trust somebody will be there"

On observation alone, it feels like we are like 75% the latter. They are really really good at it

True. However, it does work. We don't have that big of a team and the idea that Garcia and Coleman get the amount of rebounds is doubly impressive.

Offensive rebounds is a two-edged sword statistic you have to miss first. Make the bucket… no rebound needed.

I think Coach Williams gets most out of this team and he's working with what he has. And from what I can tell his players like him and they trust him. Why do I say that? Well, they do get. a lot of offensive boards that they shouldn't and they get to the free throw a lot. They listen and execute his game plan.

I'm new to this board and am surprised by some of the fans here. I have watched a lot of college basketball for many years. And I have watched A&M for a long time, but I only became a fan when Williams came on board.
