IMO part of the reason that our outside shooting is so poor is that Marble is not on the floor. There is no reason for help defenders to sag to an A&M post player. So the perimeter is more tightly guarded and our shot selection is worse.

We are not getting the volume of "kick it outside from the paint to spotted up shooter" looks that we got w Marble in the game.

Marble not being in the lineup is the reason why Coleman is doing so well. Much more space for him to play bully ball in the paint without Marble's man sagging off to help.

Maybe so but if/when he comes back they don't have to be on the court at the same time.

Marble also shoots just fine from the midrange so you have to guard him. If anything it was Coleman's defenders clogging up the lane last year.

I have a feeling that teams are going to start doubling Coleman a lot more and daring us to shoot the three. It's a scary proposition with the way we've shot so far this year, but you have to think that if IV, Boots, Hef and the new guys are getting open shots, they could make some teams pay.

I see Stansbury in Penny Hardaway's ear constantly.

Memphis looks tougher than anticipated while DePaul should be a win. Finding a way to split these next 4 and finish this part of the schedule at 4-3 would be pretty impressive. Go 5-2 and I'd be thrilled

Considering we played half the weekend without Boots and Coleman, I am VERY impressed by the fight and improving depth of this team to be 2-1.

No shame in that FAU loss at all.

No rest for the weary and dinged up with @UVA, Memphis, and @Cougar High upcoming.

Yesterday showed a lot about the depth of this team.

Tough stretch if we were at full strength. At least we have a bit of a breather after UVA.

I'll bet the team can't wait to get back to Reed in December. I know I can't wait! Hope the fans show up and support these young men.

I bought Memphis tix a few weeks ago, and there were not many tix left when I looked.

I think tix will not be easy to get for remainder of the year. This team is good. Tough, resilient, and apparently pretty deep

I'm 6 hours away so I'll put mine up on here for some mid-week games. We will see.

We'll need to stay ranked Top 15 for it to be a tough ticket.

After the UVA loss we are about where I thought we would be. Memphis game will be the key to staying ranked going into conference. We don't show the firepower right now to win at Houston. Boots remaining out is concerning.

Even if Marble gets cleared to play it will take him a while to get into game shape since he has not been part of the program this fall.

We are who we are. We don't shoot threes worth a damn and give them up. We are outstanding on the glass especially at the offensive end. Taylor is hot and cold and really needs a backcourt mate he can count on to hit the occasional shot. If the Ags turn it over much in a game we lose.

UK is the class of the SEC. Tennessee probably 2nd. We look like a team that can fight for third.

Still no word on Marble's return?

Thought I'd throw this in here: currently Kenpom has us with the 12th toughest strength of schedule in the country in games played through Nov. 30th. Only other Power 5 team with a tougher schedule than us is Tennessee at 8th. Purdue is at 18th, and the rest of the top 20 are all mid majors who have been consistently playing P5 teams.

Impressive to finish November at 6-2. Find a way to finish non-conference with only 1 more loss and we're looking really good heading into SEC play.

I am just throwing this out there! I heard from a student that is a bball fanatic that Marble is not eligible and will take a minimester class and then will be eligible!
