Appears that I didn't contribute to the season prediction thread last year, BUT I did nail it on the "total number of dunks" prediction.

Here's what I'm thinking for this season:

Overall regular season record (31 games): 25-6
Conference regular season record: 14-4
Postseason tournament? Which one? Seed: NCAA's, 3 seed
Conference champion: Aggies + Razorbacks co-champions
National champion: Houston

The stat other than score, turnovers, and free throw and three-point percentage that you're watching early in the season is: Our overall +/- from the bench. I know that's not a stat we can easily track, but mostly I'm wanting to see a minimal drop in production when any starter is out. Hopefully Buzz figures out rotations very early (he won't).

Bold predictions:
Aggies go to the Final 4. And we have 75 dunks in the regular season.

I dropped the preliminary rankings. It's half ass but DAWG ratings are hard to quantify.

DAWGs have to be called underdogs to emerge???

The stat other than score, turnovers, and free throw and three-point percentage that you're watching early in the season is: Offensive rebounding percentage, both for and against. We were one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the country last year, which helped offset some of our turnover woes on offense. We were also really bad at giving up offensive rebounds to opposing teams. We are going to let teams shoot a ton of threes, we just can't give them multiple opportunities per trip when they miss. If we are able to just make minor improvements on both ends, it could go a long way in taking this team up a notch.

Bold predictions:
The Ags make our first ever Elite 8.
Kansas State misses the tournament.
LSU makes a change at seasons end.

Not predicting it, but could see it happening: Duke runs the table 20-0 in ACC play. Kentucky ends up in the First Four.

The stat other than score, turnovers, and free throw and three-point percentage that you're watching early in the season is: Honestly, it's about the wins and losses. Who did we lose to and who did we beat. In the eyes of the tournament, nothing is more important than who you beat in the non-con.

There will be less melt downs on the board.
We'll make the 2nd weekend of the tournament.
Henry will be a more consistent scorer and rebounder.

If marble doesn't play this year then put me down for a 9 seed
