I think there was a lack of communication all over the country. In regards to coaches and players during lockdown.

Something was wrong that led up to a washed out February.

I don't think that stuff is coach speak. That is somebody knew things were not good and changes needed to be made as what they are doing isn't working. And telling some seniors it was time to move on was probably part of that. Maybe Coach McNeilly not being renewed was part of that change too. I imagine kids having been challenged and pushed harder than they were (and Buzz pushes kids a lot) so that might have played a factor in a couple of kids leaving (I didnt play and you want me to work this yard).
