Plus, the junior year draft is BIG for college baseball players. Taking that away would have been a big kick in the junk to all junior baseball players.

I don't really care. Seems like it's not that big a deal. Sucks but got to play a ton and we all had a good time.

As pointed out the post season is pretty much all that matters in college hoops and they didnt get a chance to get a banner

ok, but isn't the main goal of most teams to make the dance and try to win a ncaa championship? Sure regular season games are fun and a regular season title is great but arent most teams playing those games to get into the dance?

Imagine having a loaded aggie basketball team that had a really good chance to win it all only to not have that happen and maybe never assemble a team like that again. All that would be talked about is the what ifs. Just seems like basketball should have been granted additional eligibility as well.

Imagine if it was football and we have a change to win a ring but season is cut short before championship game is played and players moved on to the pros. That would hurt.

If you grant eligibility, that doesnt solve any what it's about the Dance this year

But doesnt it give those seniors a chance to make it next year?
