Way too early to tell. In addition to the Jackie and Jimbo hires, I would put the Bear Bryant, D.X. Bible, Charley Moran, R.C. Slocum, Homer Norton, Emory Bellard, Shelby Metcalf, Billy Gillispie, and Mark Turgeon hires ahead at this point. The Buzz hire might turn out to be in the top three hires all-time for Aggie football and basketball, but he needs to prove himself for a few years here before he starts passing people on this list.

If we're talking "hires" and not results, hiring Fran away from Alabama has to top everyone but Jimbo.
