Our entire offensive system revolves around making threes, and it has for the duration of Kennedy's tenure, and he's yet to demonstrate to me that he can adjust his approach in the face of shooting deficiencies.

Hell, he's gone entire seasons trying to ram a square peg into a round hole. I highly doubt he does anything to adjust his approach for one or two games.

No it hasn't. We have a low 3FG/total FG and historically a low 3FG%. This year was the exception on offense for 3FG%, but NOT 3FG/FGA (290), and defense until injuries and suspensions caught up with us. ONLY 32.4% OF OUR SHOTS ARE 3S.

We do best scoring off the semi break. Outside in, weave, or dribble drive. We're not Duke. Even Duke isn't Duke this year with their twin towers Bagley and Carter. They're built more like a 2009 UNC squad.

Billy's plan is to go with Chandler and Collins. Not sure it's the right one.

Eh... the stats don't really tell the whole story here. [Edit: misread what stat you were using.]

More importantly, he's not necessarily saying we shoot a lot of threes, just that our offensive system seems to revolve around whether or not we're making them. I do sort of agree with the idea that if we aren't hitting outside shots we don't seem to be able to do anything else.

I think we're a borderline horrible dribble-drive team except for Wilson. Starks and Hogg specifically are atrocious two-point shooters and we turn the ball all over a lot when we dribble.

I do think we're obviously at our best when we work it inside, but when we can't hit threes we can't seem to find a way to get anyone open anywhere on the court that they can make a shot. I think that's more what he's saying.

I doubt Caldwell will start. I also doubt that Tonny WONT start.

I think it'll be:
Starks
Chandler
Tonny
RW
Davis

With Caldwell coming off the bench to run the point, Starks moving to the 2, Flagg at the 3 for Tonny, and Tonny then relieving either RW or Davis.

Florida has a good team. BK needs a solid game plan to avoid starting conference play 0-2 and losing the home opener. Lets see if he does.

Looks like the plan was for Caldwell to lead the team in turnovers, Collins to get heavy minutes, and Starks to be so lazy on defense that they can't trust him with minutes.
