Well, would always rather see a win, but in basketball you do get some credit for hanging close with top teams. Assuming USC and UCLA go on to have good seasons this will still help our RPI. The VT win helps.
I think this is a pretty solid team, I'm a little worried the weakness of the SEC could be a problem come tournament time. We just gotta win the close ones in conference.

We lost this game with turnovers and expecting the refs to make calls in the paint. Let their one trick pony Alford make the shot of his life. We don't turn it over with one minute left and this is a game down to the wire. I'd love to meet this mediocre team again in the tourney. Hopefully not in California is though.

We have no PG, we will struggle if we don't hit jumpers. Good effort by this team, not a bad loss by any stretch. Guard play is more likely to win games in the last few minutes and UCLA clearly holds the advantage in that regard.
and you are clearly a "good enough" aggie fan. those guys don't get you a national championship. those guys without Ball are just another team.

It wasn't just the bad shooting from Hogg. He got beat on defense all night long and had at least two dreadful, lazy turnovers.
If Hogg does not play this game, we win by a couple of buckets at least.

Defensive intensity in the post season will be better than today. Our team has tons of upside this season.
This team may not make the tourney but they are going to give some teams fits. TTM is a huge defensive liability still and he has stone hands but his offense is too important to bench. The fact that Hogg didn't make the all tourney team is crap. This was his first subpar game.
