So how do y'all see the scoring breakdown looking next season?

1/2) Gilder and Davis- 14-16 ppg
3/4) Hogg and TTM- 11-13 ppg
5) Hampton- 7-9 ppg

That's about 57-67 ppg for the starters.
Last year our starters averaged 55 ppg and our top 3 guys off of the bench added 20 ppg. I think we'll see less scoring off the bench this year. Eubanks should be able to come in and knock down some shots. If Corprew gets in he's probably our best offensive reserve. I just don't see Caldwell or Williams being much of a scoring thread as freshmen.

I'm going with Gilder, too. I think he just scratched the surface this year.

How often does a P5 true center lead the team in scoring? Davis will be the primary focus of opposing defenses and his position is much easier to neutralize. If he doesn't develop a mid-range jump shot I would say that he has virtually no chance of being the leading scorer.

points per 40 minutes from last season for our returning guys:

Davis- 19
TTM- 16.5
Gilder- 14
Hogg- 14

Davis could easily lead the team in scoring but Gilder will likely play 15-20% more minutes than him which could give him the advantage. Don't sleep on TTM.

I will be a bit surprised if the leading scorer is not one of either Hogg, Gilder, or Davis. choosing from among those three, beats me. I can see arguments and scenarios why any of those guys might have the largest ppg in the stat book at the end of the season.

Tyler Davis and Gilder are the safe, conservative picks. Hogg has the highest ceiling in my opinion though. If he can shoot 40% from 3, and continue to get more aggressive taking smaller defenders to the post and and attacking off the dribble, he could be our most lethal offensive weapon.

I think Hogg's improvement from year 1 to year 2 will be one of the biggest determinents of our team success this year.

Agree with this assessment. I am most interested to see Hogg's and Trocha's development next season. If both are able to hit 3's consistently and convert offensive rebounds into easy buckets, then we will definitely have the offensive capabilities to rival last year's team as these two will be averaging double digits along with Davis and Gilder.

Davis is our MVP. We need him to play a lot. That said, I think Gilder can lead us in scoring. My only concern is he scored a lot off transition jumpers (8"?) . Caldwell has to be ready to ball. I don't want gilded playing point for long stretches.
