Chauncey Collins, TCU's leading scorer and starting point guard last season, is considering his options after leaving the program on Tuesday. A release from the school said Collins would pursue a pro career, but the Oklahoma City native said he might decide to transfer to another school.

"I haven't made any plans for sure for my future," Collins told ESPN.com. "I'm not saying no to anything. ... I'm not for sure going pro. I'm not for sure going overseas. I'm weighing my optionsCollins said he has not hired an agent, a move that would terminate his collegiate eligibility. He said he would consider going overseas if he ultimately decides to turn pro.."

The recent arrival of former UNLV commit Jaylen Fisher, a four-star point guard prospect ranked No. 34 in the 2016 class per RecruitingNation, seemed to lock up the starting point guard spot for Dixon's program and likely would have required a position change for Collins.

I assume former A&M PG Alex Robinson also will be in the mix.

If that is the case, then it will be Fisher who starts in their first game. We'll see. When I watched a few of Fisher's highlights, he just didn't look as athletic to me as Robinson, at least in terms of quickness. But maybe it was that ridiculous bleached hair he had that skewed my perception of him.

I agree with Method. I hope alex has matured and becomes a good teammate in his new environment. If not, he'll have a long season.

I wonder if some coach is going to take the tact that recruiting each year will be to sit back and see how many transfers I can pull in. Guaranteed starting position.

He has had a full year sitting out to hopefully do some maturing. There seemed to be some legitimate talent there, but yeah if he isn't in a good place from the neck up then forget about it.

He actually has albinism, so his ridiculous blond hair isn't that ridiculous.

Yikes. Now I feel like a horses butt. That didn't click to me watching the highlight. Thanks.

TCU will be interesting to watch in the coming years. Talking about a job where you're going to have to absolutely grind for everything.

Foot in my mouth on that one! It didn't click with me for some reason in the highlight vid. I just got distracted by the hair.

My apologies to any offended posters.

In terms of how slow he seemed to me in the highlight videos, maybe my perception was also affected by watching so much Golden State vs. Thunder recently. You watch Russell Westbrook moving up and down the court for awhile, perhaps high school bball vids seem like the kid's feet are stuck in mud in comparison.
