My thought as well. Unless a kid grew up an Aggie, is a Texan who doesn't want to leave the state, or has other close ties to the school, we aren't going to pull many out of state guys once Kentucky, Duke, UNC, and Kansas get serious about them. Only other place I could see him ending up is LSU which is in state for him.

We extend BK the off-season when the man sitting next to him with the better resume leaves. I dont see this ending well- but hope for the best.

I think he will wait to sign with someone after the season is over. He will want to see what's happening with the LSU staff.

Obviously Stansbury's departure played a role, but do you think we would have held onto him with the blue bloods potentially making a real push here pretty soon?

This move also lets him see how LSU's season goes instead of being pressured to sign in the early signing period as an already committed prospect.

He's originally a Florida kid. Moved to Louisiana last fall. LSU may end up involved but he's not a native New Orlean who will put much stock in the LSU coaching situation.

Specifically the JUCO Sa, Doesn't seem like that big a deal. A bench big who is not a strong scorer but can play defense would be a luxury nice to have, but landing a grad transfer lead guard like that Gillon kid is a much more immediate critical roster issue.

He plays High school basketball in New Orleans although he is originally from Florida. Proximity to family is probably critical to him if LSU is the leader. I would expect bigger fish to come to the forefront soon.
