It's not just dunking and missing free throws. Jordan is a heck of a defender which is something that matters, great rebounder. And I actually think Jordan has a back to the basket game. Doc refused to show it.

Doc mismanaged this kids upside and Carlisle sold him on how he will do for Jordan what Doc didn't or couldn't.

I think you're wrong. I've seen Jordan make post moves that were pretty solid. I totally expect Rick to get him to around 15 points a game.

I think the gap has closed. If the Mavs get Mo Williams it's really closed. Dallas had Houston on the ropes at times in that playoff series. I expect Parsons to settle in much better. Matthews is a two way player, which will really help. And quite frankly I expect Dirk to bounce back, the big German still has some life in him. Other then Harden how is Houston significantly better at any position?

The miss manage Jordan part is Jordan was 222 in the NBA in shot attempts. That kid should've receved more scoring opportunities.

I don't have the number, but the Clippers had a huge advantage when teams went to sending Jordan to the line. So that's an overrated issue.

Totally agree. If Dallas can land a strong PG to replace Ellis, then they definitely will be much improved.
