PF Elijah Thomas (Lancaster High School) will be announcing his school decision tomorrow at 1:30pm. His final schools are Illinois, LSU, Oklahoma State, SMU, and Texas A&M.

Thomas is currently ranked the #28 player in the country.

He is listed at about 6' 9" (240 lbs).

Has he chosen the Aggies to join his DFW friends in the 2015 recruiting class below, which includes DJ Hogg (#31 national ranking), Tyler Davis (#33 national ranking), and his besty best friend Admon Gilder (#83 national ranking)?

Then there's SMU and THE Larry Brown. It's close to home and I know they're gonna be a really strong team this year and the year that I get on campus. That's definitely attractive to me. Plus you can't beat
playing in your own backyard. That's definitely a selling point for me because I'm close with my family and them being able to see me play would be big.

Of course people have their own opinions about where I'm going, but what fans and readers need to remember is that it's just what people "think."

Definitely. Might already be the highest ranked class ever even without him.

I would think that right now we have the highest rated A&M b-ball class with 2 top 35 players and another top 100 national player. If Mr. Elijah Thomas commits to the Aggies, it would just put A&M over the top in the rankings. We have never had 2 top 35 players commit to A&M in the same class. We've had a few top 100 kids (more in the 50-100 ranking commit) be it Jerald Brown, Calvin Davis, Antoine Wright, Acie Law, Joseph Jones, Bryan Davis, David Loubou, Dash Harris, and DeAndre Jordan, of course. I'm not even sure Sloan or Roland were top 100 kids. Many of these recruits were in 1 class and not in just 1 recruiting class like right now.

Hoping he picks the good guys!

Agreed it would be the best recruiting class ever and should help the Aggies establish themselves as the top program in Texas and be in the running for an SEC title, and deep NCAA tourney runs.

The 2006 class had two top 60 kids (Sloan and Davis) and one top 150 kid (Roland)

Hope Thomas sees the potential for a fab five kind of setup. He and his friends could definitely impact the future of Aggie basketball in a similar way that Johnny did in football. Hoping he sees that and comes here. And that the coaching staff coaches like there is no tomorrow next year: since one-and-dones are under pressure from the NBA and most of them will pull the trigger if they have any success whatsoever at the college level.

I'll take a crack at the tweet. He's really playing up this process of recruiting and trying to get as much attention out of it as possible. Over the past week or so he has been retweeting fans of different schools, putting different mascot emojis after certain tweets, even retweeting a fake tweet that said he had committed to Illinois at one point.

SO, I bet he had a very extravagant idea on how he wanted to present his choice tomorrow, but his high school, who's mascot is the tigers BTW, gave him the red light on the idea. Lowkey = on the sneak, on the down low. Joed me= poured salt, stomped out an idea, etc.
