A few years back he was the no.1 prospect in the nation. Now he looks very ordinary.
He has to get rid of that floater, he needs instruction and not getting it.
Can BK teach? I don't know.
I know he had the injury in H.S., but seems fine now.
We have a bunch of dribblers,and passers and no shooters. Is next years class going to be better? I always thought that the idea of playing basketball, was to make baskets, very simple.
A lot of questions, give me some answers.

Needs to spend a lot of time in the weight room. Don't know if he has an outside game

J-Mike definitely seemed to lose confidence as the season progressed. He seems to have the tools to be a good player, but hasn't shown much yet.

New players are coming in that will add guard depth next season and increase the competition for minutes. We will see how Reese responds to that.

He is 20 years old. He was older than everyone else just like LJ Rose and Jamal Branch. He's still talented, but was never the savior many acted like he was. He doesn't play with much energy and has lost his confidence.

He does have a lot if potential, IMO, but maybe an offseason of soul searching and hard work will have him back on track and having fun.

First thing I'd say is he is a freshmen. Not all freshmen point guards are John Wall.

Next he seems to avoid contract and plays tentative. I kept waiting for him to see how much this team struggled to find another scorer and quit differing. Seems way to laid back and doesn't look like he is having fun. Sometimes it almost looked like he didnt want to be here.

I'm hoping he will work hard in the off season, gain some confidence and become more aggressive. He took a few last second shots this season in some games, but none of them fell. Hoping to see him become more of the "man" next year.

Also, cut down the turnovers.

He seems much more comfortable in fast break and transition situations than in the half court sets. I just wonder if he played much half court set offense in HS and AAU.

Steeple... No he didn't. BHS only played fast like AAU ball and he has no major experience in the half court.

Once BK gets "his players" we will be able to play the run and gun offense.

He's a Freshman PG who needs to work on his PG skills. I'm not sure having his Dad continue to coach him is a great idea.

If a Dad was really good at helping a kid with their homework, should they advise them on theoretical physics?

Watched him in highschool, he could score 25 points and be miserable looking. He is a competitor. I bet he could play a flawless game and still not smile. It's his demeanor.

Dumb people

He's a fish who missed his senior season of HS play due to injury. I agree that he along with AC and JG all need to get in the wt room, especially since a lot of the guards in the SEC look more like DBs and there is a lot of contact, but he'll be fine.
