Let's see, he wouldn't play defense. That is what you are posting. Who cares how good offensively he is, if he only plays on one end. Championships are won by defense, not offense. He will find that out when he goes to the next place and tries the same stuff. He may find a coach that will play him because of his offensive skills and may win a lot of games, but no championships.

testtexasag---You are so down on a coach that is 9-3 on the season and is trying even when not feeling his best to produce a winner. Are you really and Aggie fan or a Baylor or Texas fan who is trying to start controversy. You sure don't know much about college basketball. While you can recruit juniors at certain points during the year and can send materials to sophomores, you cannot sign anyone until the fall of their senior year. That means the 2013 class cannot sign with anyone until the fall of 2012, Get behind the program instead of making stupid, reckless statements. Kennedy will get things in order. I have been watching him since he coached at SE. He followed the same steps in claiming championships at SE Louisiana, has assisted in coaching at MIAMI, Fl, California, when they were in the top 10, turned Centennary around when he was there, and improved a program at Murray State, whose cupbourd was bare when he got there. Give the coach some credit, he appears to be a little more tired than usual, but he knows the game, and will be best for A&M. His body is probably adapting to medication to stabilize his condition and while he is soft spoken, he knows how to motivate players without a lot of theatrics. Unlike some of the past coaches we have had the man has character and will not leave our program in shambles. Give him a chance instead of trying to destroy him on this board.

As far as Kennedy is concerned, maybe we could fire him in public, during intermission at Reed perhaps.

We could put on the scoreboard (or get people to bring signs) telling him that we are cancelling his health insurance, too.

I know the Rice game was bad, but to say he's 9-3 with "one of the easiest schedules" seems to ignore the glaring omission of the fact that the other 2 losses were to #10 and #14 in the polls.

If he doesn't want to be here, then it's for the best. It's too bad that it didn't work out and when situations like these happen I tend to look at the player, but there were a lot of other circumstances that probably contributed to him wanting to leave. I just hope that Reese is ready to contribute immediately next year or we are in trouble.
