came into ULL with none of his players and a bare cupboard. won 11 straight conference games at the end of the year after team figured out his system.

knows texas high school basketball.

seems like he's got his hooks into Texas well enough. I'd give him a call just for the halibut. BB has to make a whale of a hire, he can't afford to make a gaffe here and think he can skate by on his footbal program.

I certainly don't think we'd flounder with him at the helm.

It's not as crazy as say...getting Bob Marley to coach the team. But he shouldn't be on a top 5 (or possibly 10) list.

I'm from huntsville and got to know bob very well through his son. Bob knows how to win, by the time he left shsu he was in the top 3 active coaches for wins in all of Texas, already he has started to turn lousiana lafayette around as well. The best part about him is that he is a players coach and knows how to recruit not just out of high school but also JUCOs. Still wouldn't think he is a top 5 candidate but definitely could see top 10.

He would do very well in Aggieland. A&M needs somebody that will adapt quickly and leave his basketball ego at the door.

While he was at SHSU they were second in the state in wins only behind TU. I think he would be very successful with our resources.

I'm starting to like this guy more and more. He spent a decade 45 minutes away from our campus. Guy has proven he can coach, at three schools now.
